Toni Kroos started his career for the local club named “Greifswalder SC”. He was later transferred for the youth team of Hansa Rostock. Toni Kroos moved to Bayern Munich’s youth club in the year 2006. When he was at the age of 17 years old, he was promoted to Bayern’s senior team for the 2007-08 season. He made his debut on 26 September 2007 in a 5-0 defeat of Energie Cottbus and twice assisted Miroslav Klose for Bayern.  He was also the youngest player ever to represent Bayern in a professional match at the age of 17 years at the time of his debut. 

Toni Kroos had a deal in place to join Manchester United after agreeing terms with David Moyes, prior to joining Real Madrid. But later the Dutch manager decided against signing Kroos. During the time of the 2014 FIFA World Cup he received a call from Carlo Ancelotti. Later, Real Madrid announced that they had reached an agreement for the transfer of Kroos on 17 July 2014. . He signed a contract of six years for an undisclosed fee. It has been estimated that he was signed by Real Madrid at a cost between 24 and 30 Million Euro. He became the ninth German player to join Real Madrid. He signed a new contract until 2022 on 12 October 2016 and by the end of the year he was once again nominated to the FIFPro World Xi and the UEFA Team of the year. He also scored the winning goal for his club in the 81 minute of the game against the famous club named “Celta Vigo” as Real Madrid won their first home game of the La Liga season by 2-1. Kroos also made 12 appearances during the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League, when Madrid won their third consecutive and 13th overall Champions League title. Toni Kroos also won his fifth FIFA Club World Cup after his team defeated “AL Ain FC” on 22 December 2018 with a 4-1 win in the final. Kroos extended his contract with Real Madrid until 2023 on 22 December 2018. He also won the 2019-20 Supercopa de Espana with Real Madrid on 12 January 2020 and 2018-20 La Liga. 

International Career: 

Toni Kroos started his international career in the 2007 U-17 World Cup. He was also awarded the Golden Ball as the tournament’s best player and also the Bronze Shoe after scoring five goals. He made his professional senior debut after he was called up to the senior Germany team for the first time, for a training season in Sindelfingen in January 2010. He was also named in the squad for the following match against Argentina on 3 March 2010. Kroos was also selected to Joachim Low’s 23 man squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. He has also won the 2014 World Cup for his nation with his team defeating Argentina in the final. He has also played in the Euro Cup 2012 and Euro Cup 2016 reaching the final in both tournaments for his nation. He was also selected for the 23 man squad during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
