Since his foot injury, he has continued to struggle with injuries and poor play, missing 21 games and accumulating just 6 combined sacks between 2011 and 2013. On 22 July 2014, he was released for Chargers. Larry English was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on 14 August 2014. Larry English was cut by the team on 29 August and later resigned again on 9 September 2014.
