He took his very first earning the NAS Amateur National Championships and earned his Strongman Corporation (ASC) Professional Card on November 5, 2011. From that time he won the 2012 Arnold Amateur Strongman Championships. Although he debuts his career at 2014 he signed a contract with the professional wrestling promotion WWE in 2013. He was assigned to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. There he adopted his ring name Braun in the name of Ryan Braun. In 2014, he appeared as one of Adam Rose’s “Rosebuds”. His professional wrestling debut was at an NXTlive event in Jacksonville, Florida on December 19, 2014, defeating Chad Gable. On June 2, 2015, he took part at the Main Event taping in a dark match, where he won. He made his main roster debut by attacking Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns and establishing himself as the newest member of The Wyatt Family alongside Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan on the August 24 episode of Raw. Brawn had his first singles match on the August 31 in Raw’s episode. There he defeated Ambrose by disqualification
In 2016 WWE draft, Brawn started his singles career. On the following weeks on raw Strowman appeared and defeated James Ellsworth and several other local wrestlers who put up no challenge. On the September 5 episode of Raw, Sin Cara challenged Strowman and got defeated. In the year of 2017 and 2019, he won several titles like Universal Championship. He also won Money in the Bank ladder match by defeating Kevin Owens and Sami Zyan. Now he defeated Nakamura and won Intercontinental Championship which was his first single title in WWE on January 31.
